about bright light therapy
Light therapy, also known as phototherapy, plays an important role in the biological awakening of our body. It can even increase happiness.
- We spend a good part of our time in the office, or at home with low emission lights (average LUX levels in offices are 500).
- We lack light whatever the season; worse by tenfold in winter and in northern countries.
- Bright Light therapy corrects for this lack of light. Through the use of lamps with an intensity of daylight, 10,000 lux, it improves the regulation of melatonin, the hormone that regulates daily sleep cycles. It also supports the immune system.
